中国共产党对上海妇幼卫生事业一直起着积极的作用,即使在抗日战争和解放战争时期,上海妇幼卫生事业依旧在前行。新中国成立后,联合妇幼保健站网络逐渐建成。随着国家各方面的完善和发展,上海的妇幼卫生事业也日臻成熟。到本世纪20年代,上海的妇幼卫生事业已经达到全国领先水平,一些指标已经达到或接近发达国家水平,妇幼健康服务网络也愈加完善,为实施“健康中国”战略和实现上海妇幼健康高质量发展,上海妇幼卫生事业也有了它新的任务和使命。

The Communist Party of China has been playing an active role in fostering the growth of maternal and child health services in Shanghai.In Shanghai,the maternal and child health services were still being advanced even during both the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation.After the Founding of new China,the network of united maternal and child health station was established gradually.Day by day,the advancement of maternal and child health services was augmented in tandem with the progress and advancement of the nation.By the 2os of this century,the maternal and child health services in Shanghai have reached an advanced level in the country and some indicators have attained or even come close to the level of developed countries.Additionally,the maternal and child health services network has been enhanced.In order to implement the"Healthy China"strategy and achieve high-quality development of maternal and child health services in Shanghai,the maternal and child health services in Shanghai have got a new task and mission.
