当前,我国正处于从工业大国向工业强国迈进的关键时期,新型工业化具有新的时代特征和内涵要求。新质生产力是以科技创新为主导、实现关键性颠覆性技术突破而产生的生产力,创新引领是新质生产力的核心特征。扎实推进新型工业化是加快形成新质生产力的必然要求和根本支撑,新质生产力是推进新型工业化的强大引擎和重要动力。扎实推进新型工业化、加快形成新质生产力,是实现高水平科技自立自强、塑造竞争新优势的迫切需要,是建设现代化经济体系、着力推进高质量发展的必然选择,是全面建成社会主义现代化强国、实现中华民族伟大复兴的内在要求。实现新型工业化、形成新质生产力的重要着力点在于:加快实现高水平科技自立自强,以科技创新引领现代化产业体系建设,前瞻性谋划好战略性新兴产业和未来产业,为全面建设社会主义现代化强国奠定坚实的物质技术基础。

At present,China is at an important juncture in its efforts to transform from being a big industrial country to a strong one,and new industrialization has new characteristics and connotations.The new quality productive forces are primarily characterized by scientific and technological innovation,especially key subversive technological breakthroughs.New industrialization is an indispensable and fundamental support for accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces,which is a powerful engine and an important driving force for new industrialization in turn.Advancing new industrialization and accelerating the formation of new quality productive forces are an urgent need for China to realize greater self-reliance in science and technology,and to shape new competitive advantages.They are also necessary for China to build a modern economic system and promote high-quality development,which is required by the goal of building China into a modern socialist country in all respects and achieving the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.Possible approaches to new industrialization and new quality productive forces include moving faster toward greater self-reliance in science and technology,building a modern industrial system powered by innovation,planning strategic emerging industries and future industries with a forward-looking mindset,so as to lay a solid material and technological foundation for building a modern socialist country in all respects.
