中国式高等教育现代化不仅是中国教育现代化的重要组成部分,还是有效推动国家现代化战略目标的基础支撑。中国式高等教育现代化是一个内涵丰富、立意宏大、特色鲜明的概念,意味着中国高等教育是在高质量发展目标的引领下,遵循扎根中国大地办大学的原则,适时回应国家重大战略急需,并努力探索高等教育的中国经验、中国方案和中国模式。然而,当前仍然存在诸多发展困境和需要着力破解的问题,主要表现为:顶层统筹规划与战略布局迟滞;分类指导与分类管理失序;评价与监督制度体系缺位;教育供给相对单一与人民需求多样化间的矛盾存在。面向未来,中国高等教育必须从中国实际出发,秉承创新驱动发展理念,深化供给侧改革,完善高校分类发展体系,构建现代化评价保障机制,为国家现代化贡献力量。

Chinese higher education modernization is an important component of China's education modernization and a fundamental support for national modernization strategic goals.It is a concept with rich connotation,grand idea and distinctive features,which means that the development of Chinese higher education is guided by the goal of high-quality development,follows the principle of running universities rooted in the condition of China,timely responds to major national strategic needs,and strives to explore the Chinese experience,plan and model of higher education.However,there are still many development difficulties and problems,mainly manifested as delayed top-level planning and strategic layout,disorder of classification guidance and management,absence of evaluation and supervision system and contradiction between the relatively single supply of education and the diverse demands of the people.In the future,China's higher education must start from actual domestic condition,adhere to the concept of innovation-driven development,deepen supply side reform,improve university classification development system,build modern evaluation and guarantee mechanism and contribute higher education strength to national modernization.
