摘要
旅澳作家韦敏的新作《丛台别》是一本聚焦汉剧艺术、展现武汉城市文化的长篇小说。小说从故事人物的日常生活入手,以汉剧为着力描写对象,诉说汉剧文化的发展史。作者通过厚重历史感的呈现、多元文化空间的营造,完成了构建“戏码头”文化史诗的有益尝试。“戏曲—小说”并置的叙述方式,着重强调了戏曲表演空间的独立性。此外,汉剧与小说叙事构成的互文性关系带来“人生如戏、戏如人生”的慨叹。韦敏站在新的历史起点,以强烈的文化自觉反思汉剧发展难题,突显汉剧在寻求转变过程中的“求新”意识,与以往戏曲文化书写中的“怀旧”意识形成鲜明对比,为这一书写传统带来新的美学质素,构成小说的独特性所在。
The novel Farewell to Congtai by Wei Min,a Chinese writer in Australia,is a novel that focuses on the art of Han opera and showcases the urban culture of Wuhan.The novel starts with the daily lives of the characters in the story,focusing on describing Han opera and telling the development history of Han opera culture.The author has made a beneficial attempt to construct a cultural epic of“Opera Dock”by presenting a profound sense of history and creating a diverse cultural space.The narrative style of“opera-novel”emphasizes the independence of the performance space of opera.In addition,the intertextuality between Han dramas and novels makes people feel that life is like drama.Wei Min stands at a new historical starting point,exploring the culture of Han Opera with a strong cultural consciousness.The presentation of the“novelty seeking”consciousness in the process of seeking transformation in Han Opera is in stark contrast to the“nostalgia”consciousness in traditional Chinese opera culture writing,bringing new aesthetic qualities to this writing tradition and forming the uniqueness of the novel.
