Theoretical and Practical Exploration of Landscape Design in China Since the 21 Century

进入21世纪以来,我国的景观学者和设计师在借鉴西方理论的过程中,坚持守正创新,在继承中华传统园林精华基础上,探寻具有中国特色的景观设计之路,理论研究成果斐然,设计实践硕果累累,为人居环境改善做出重要贡献。文章通过对景观设计探索历程的回顾,梳理总结了从西方引入的理论成果,重点归纳提炼了扎根于本土文化的理论建构和设计创作成就,同时展望思考了新时代景观设计发展方向;是为刍荛之见,略述大端,希望有助于读者整体把握20多年来景观设计理论与实践的发展脉络,助力我国景观设计事业笃定前行。

Since the beginning of 21st century,domestic landscape scholars and designers,in the process of learning from western theories,have upheld fundamental principles and broken new ground,and on the basis of inheriting the essence of traditional Chinese gardens,explored the road of landscape design with Chinese characteristics.The theoretical research results are remarkable and the design practice fruitful,which have made a significant contribution to the improvement of human settlement environment.Through a review of the exploration process of landscape design,the theoretical achievements introduced from the west were combed and summarized.The emphasis was given to induce and refine the theoretical construction and design creation achievements rooted in local culture.At the same time,the development direction of landscape design in the new era was contemplated in the outlook.It is hoped,as a humble opinion to briefly describe the main features,to help us grasp the overall development of landscape design theory and practice over the past 20 years,and to help our country's landscape design profession move forward with certainty.
