The integrated urban-rural development in Chengdu has been steadily promoted since the launch of National Pilot Zones for Urban-rural Integration Development.This is a major practice concerning the sustainable high-quality development of megacities.Three significant characteristics can be clearly found:the courage to assume the mission of the new development stage,highlighting the corresponding historical logic;adherence to the guidance of the new development philosophy,highlighting the corresponding practical logic;closely around the construction of a new pattern of development,highlighting the corresponding innovation logic.The in-depth analysis of the distinctive characteristics of the urban-rural integration in Chengdu is of important theoretical and practical significance for the solid promotion of Chinese modernization.
