社会学融通主义的历史逻辑与时代意涵

The Historical Logic and Epochal Meaning of Syncretism in Sociology

摘要 社会学存在着多元化理论的取代式发展与学科整体的理论解释力受限的悖论,中西皆然。建设中国特色社会学必须寻求对这一论的化解之道。群学作为中国古典社会学,在悠久的历史中形成了融通主义传统,继承和发扬这一优秀传统,可以在社会学各种“范式”的相处方式上,消除“取代式”,实行“融通式”。学科发展的历史,确证了融通则盛、不融通则衰。中国学术的这一内在逻辑,可称为“社会学融通主义的历史逻辑”,其交叠性更新、传承性发展、会通性转化和共生性崛起等特点对中国特色社会学建设具有启发意义。在以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴的历史机遇下,社会学融通主义契合中国式现代化实践的需要,可以大展其能。 The discipline of sociology faces a paradoxical situation characterized by the replacement of diverse theoretical paradigms alongside limitations in the overall explanatory power of the discipline,a phenomenon observed both in the East and the West.The construction of sociology with Chinese characteristics necessitates seeking a solution to this paradox.Quncue,as a form of classical Chinese sociology,has cultivated a tradition of syncretism throughout its long history.Inheriting and advancing this syncretic tradition can alter the dynamics of interaction between sociological"paradigms,"facilitating their integration and amalgamation in a syncretic"mode as opposed to their substitution and displacement in a"substitutionary"mode.The histories of academic disciplines have shown that syncretism leads to prosperity,and anti-syncretism leads to decline."The historical logic of syncretism in sociology,"as the internal logic of Chinese scholarship,is characterized byoverlapping renewal,inheriting development,converging transformation and conjoining advancement,and serves as the inspiration for the development of sociology with Chinese characteristics.Syncretism in Chinese sociology aligns with the requirements of the Chinese path to modernization,and can aptly demonstrate its capabilities within the context of the historical opportunity presented by the comprehensive promotion of this path and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
