国家安全学学科构建作为国家安全工作的重要有机组成部分,以总体国家安全观为根本遵循是其中应有之义。实践证明,没有总体国家安全观就没有国家安全学学科已成为当今理论界和实操部门的共识。总体国家安全观对于国家安全学学科的推动作用,主要表现在研究对象、基础理论框架和学科自主化等方面;国家安全学学科的政治性和战略性等特点也源于总体国家安全观。总体国家安全观所凸显的“大安全理念”和“大安全格局”,呼唤国家安全学学科在条件更加成熟时努力向国家安全学门类方向发展,主要囊括领域国家安全学和工具国家安全学两个一级学科。

As an important,integral part of national security work,the discipline building of national security studies should followa holistic approach to national security as its fundamental guidance.Facts have shown that there will be no such a discipline of national security studies without a holistic approach to national security;this has become a consensus among the theoretical community and the operational departments.A holistic approach to national security drives the developmentof national securitystudiesprimarily through research objects,foundational theoretical frameworks,and the autonomy of the discipline.Meanwhile,the political and strategic nature of national security studies also stems from a holistic approach to national security.The"grand securityvision"and"great security architecture"highlighted by such a holistic approach callfor the development of national securitystudies toward a statutory academic category when conditions are ripe.This category mainly comprises two first-level disciplines,i.e.,domain-based and tool-oriented national security studies.
