西汉上郡白土、平都二县地望新考

New Interpretation of the Baitu and Pingdu Counties,Shangjun Prefecture during the Western Han Dynasty

西汉上郡下辖白土、平都二县之地望大致在今陕西榆林境内,历来有考证,结论不一。本文在梳理以往研究的基础上,结合文献和实地调查资料,对此二县的地望提出了新的认识,认为白土县故城为今榆阳区古城界城址,平都县故城为今子洲县校场坪遗址。

During the Western Han Dynasty,Baitu and Pingdu counties were administered under the Shangjun Prefecture.Their approximate locations are believed to be within the present-day Yulin City,Shaanxi.Various scholarly opinions regarding their exact locations have been proposed.Building upon previous research,this paper presents a new understanding of the geographical locations of these two counties based on literature review and field investigations.It posits that the ancient city of Baitu County corresponds to the ancient city site of Guchengjie in the Yuyang District of Yulin City,while the ancient city site Jiaochangping in present-day Zizhou County might be Pingdu County.
