In the study of the commemorative history of the Communist Party of China,it is an important per-spective to investigate Mao Zedong’s dominant position in the commemorative activities.Mao Zedong deeply shaped the discourse expression in the commemorative activities of the Communist Party of China,which presents three dimensions in its content.Firstly,Mao Zedong built the revolutionary discourse system by clarifying his revo-lutionary route and methods in commemorating activities.Secondly,he built the socialist construction discourse by conveying the demands of base area construction and socialist construction in commemorative activities.Thirdly,he built the mass discourse by praising,considering,relying on and serving the mass in commemorative activities.Studying Mao Zedong’s discourse expression in commemorative activities and drawing nutrition and wisdom from it will be beneficial to firmly promote the reconstruction of the discourse expression of commemorative activities in the new era.
