It analyzed the story songs of The Epic Legend of King Gesar with national memory and cultural identity as the main carriers in this paper.It argued that the cultural values conveyed by its story-songs fit and promote the connotation of forging a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation in the New Era,and that they are an important resource for forging a strong sense of identity among the Chinese nation,as well as a vivid example of China multi-ethnic cultural exchanges,exchanges,mingling,and mutual learning.Digging up and interpreting its national memory and cultural identity is of great significance to forgin a firm sense of community among the Chinese nation,enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation,and firm up the confidence of Chinese culture.
