摘要
二十世纪四十年代,张大千对敦煌艺术的研究得到了文化界的高度赞扬,而支撑他完成这一系列工作的原动力则需深入其更早期的艺术活动中寻求答案。在二十世纪初中西文化冲突的大背景下,传统国画遭到前所未有的质疑。而张大千却秉承着对传统画学传承与创新的信念,通过临摹、写生、社团活动等实践,向世人论证了中国现代绘画的内在动力。
In the 1940s,ZHANG Daqian’s research on Dunhuang art was highly praised by the cultural community in China.It is necessary to probe into ZHANG’s earlier artistic activities for understanding the driving force behind his completion of this series of work related to research on Dunhuang art.Against the backdrop of the great clash between the Eastern and Western cultures at the beginning of the 20th century,traditional Chinese painting faced unprecedented challenges.However,ZHANG stuck to his belief in the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese painting.Therefore,he demonstrated to the world the intrinsic dynamics of modern Chinese painting through practices such as replicating,sketching from life,and participation in a variety of art societies.
