China gained full access to the internet on April 20,1994.The past 30 years have witnessed continuous efforts in China to boost its connections with the global community while vigorously advancing reform and opening-up.The internet has shaped and changed our lives.Through an internet connection,strangers thousands of miles away become friends and maintain close interactions,everyone including those living in rural and remote areas are able to enjoy equal access to medical and educational resources,and exchange of goods between individuals has become convenient like never before,sparking the emergence of new forms of business.Middle-aged people tend to reminisce about the past when everything moved slower,whereas younger generations fifind it hard to imagine how people survived without networks.
