Professor Ma Yong’s Experience on the Treatment of Residual Symptoms After Minimally Invasive Surgery for Lumbar Disc Herniation

文章介绍马勇教授辨治腰椎间盘突出症微创术后残留症状经验,其认为该病本质为术后正气虚损,邪气留恋。当前中医治疗方案存在一定局限,马勇教授主张建立以经方为根基的辨治体系,提出“扶阳”治疗理念:益气扶阳、调补脏腑、宣痹通络。继而创制了个人验方—扶阳宣痹汤用以临证治疗,取得了显著疗效,同时也为临床治疗该病提供了一定参考。

Professor Ma Yong’s experience in treating residual symptoms after minimally invasive surgery for lumbar disc herniation is systematically introduced in this essay.Prof.Ma demonstrates that the essence of this disease is the deficiency of Zheng Qi and the remaining of Xie Qi.Some limitations were discovered in the current Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)therapy protocol;thus,Prof.Ma insisted on constructing TCM therapy protocol based on the classic decoctions.Additionally,he suggested the therapy concept of“Fu Yang”,which included Yi Qi Fu Yang,Tiao Bu Zang Fu,and Xuan Bi Tong Luo.Therefore,he created individual TCM decoction(Fuyang Xuanbi decoction)to treat residual symptoms and obtain sound effects.Meanwhile,Prof.Ma’s experience also provided other clinicians with references.
