西部地区中小城市县域经济与人口耦合性研究——以桂林市为例

Study on the Coupling of County Economy and Population in Small and Medium-sized Cities in Western China——Through Taking Guilin City as an Example

县城作为城镇化建设的重要载体,是推进新型城镇化建设的重要突破口,县域经济与人口是反映其经济社会发展的重要指标。以2013—2021年桂林市各县的经济与人口数据为基础,基于标准差椭圆、平均中心与耦合协调模型分析各县人口变化与经济发展的联系及存在的问题。研究结果表明,桂林市区域发展不协调,县域发展受城市辐射效应影响,存在一定“向心性”,西北部与东南部县域经济相对疲弱,其发展面临人口外流与产业结构不协调等多重挑战。为此,应逐步加强城市与县域经济及人口的互动合作,重视人才问题,推进县域产业升级,激发县域经济的内在活力,促进城乡协调一体化发展,从而高质量建设城乡互促共进的新型城镇化。

As an important carrier of urbanization construction,the county is an important breakthrough to promote new urbanization.County economy and population are important indicators reflecting its economic and social development.Based on the economic and population data of each county in Guilin City from 2013 to 2021,the study analyzes the relationship between population change and economic development of each county and the existing problems based on standard deviation ellipse,mean center and coupling coordination model.The research result shows that the regional development of Guilin is not coordinated,the county development is affected by the urban radiation effect,there is a certain“centrality”,the“centrifugal”northwest and southeast county economy is relatively weak,the county economic development is facing multiple challenges such as population outflow,and industrial structure is not coordinated.It is suggested to gradually strengthen the interaction and cooperation between city and county economy and population,attach importance to the problem of talents,promote the upgrading of county industry,stimulate the internal vitality of county economy,promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,promote the integration of urban and rural areas,and realize the new urbanization of urban and rural mutual promotion and common progress.
