场所精神理论下传统街区文化空间呈现与感知

Research on the Presentation and Perception of Cultural Spaces in Traditional Urban Areas from the Perspective of the Theory of the Spirit of Place

随着城市的快速发展,传统街区面临着文化空间的传承问题。地方文脉的传承,与地区空间格局的演变、空间特性的延续、人们对区域氛围的感知变化等问题密切相关。选择场所精神理论作为切入点,以北京天桥地区为例,使用质性研究中扎根理论三级编码和地理空间展示与分析方法,从空间格局演变、场所精神分析、文化空间的呈现与场所精神的传承三个方面,对城市传统街区文化空间呈现与感知问题进行研究。结果显示:人们对天桥地区的整体认知体现在“古今具有高知名度的艺术表演区域”这一内涵上。人们通过观看展览演出等活动,体验区域的整体空间氛围,进而感受地方文化。这样的游览模式,适合此类新旧文化空间同时呈现的传统街区。

With the rapid development of the city,traditional urban blaocks are faced with the problem of the inheritance of cultural space.The inheritance of regional culture is closely related to the evolution of regional spatial patterns,the inheritance of regional spatial characteristics,and the change in people s perception of regional atmosphere.Therefore,this article takes the Beijing Tianqiao area as an example and chooses place spirit theory as a breakthrough point to deeply study the presentation and perception of cultural spaces in traditional urban baocks,by using the three-level coding of the grounded theory and the geospatial presentation and analysis methods in qualitative research.This paper studies the presentation and perception of cultural space in traditional city blocks through three aspects:the study of spatial pattern evolution,the research on the place spirit,and the presentation of cultural space and the inheritance of the place spirit.Through the analysis,it can be seen that people s overall cognition of the Tianqiao area is reflected in the connotation of“art performance area with high fame in the past and present”.Through visiting exhibitions,performances,and other activities,people experience the overall space atmosphere of the region and then feel the local culture.Such a tour mode is suitable for such traditional areas where new and old cultural spaces are presented at the same time.
