General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on common prosperity are guided by the basic principles of Marxism.These discourses elucidate that common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism;the comprehensive leadership of the Communist Party of China is the fundamental guarantee for achieving common prosperity;and promoting common prosperity is identical to promoting the comprehensive and free development of individuals.These discourses are original contributions of Xi Jinping to Marxism in 21st century.They have developed the theory of Marxist common prosperity and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and provided scientific guidance for China and other countries to work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind and truly achieve common prosperity for all people.
