银龄志愿者助力公共图书馆阅读推广服务研究——以鞍山市图书馆老年志愿服务活动为例

Research on the Reading Promotion Service of Public Libraries Assisted by Silver-age volunteers——Taking the Elderly Volunteer Activities of Anshan Library as an Example

银龄志愿服务是一种以老年人为主体的志愿者服务机制,在当今社会中发挥着重要作用。银龄志愿服务为老年人提供了一个发挥个人能力和情感表达的平台,促进了社会互助、关爱和传承,有助于退休人员尽快适应社会角色,发挥余热,增强社会责任感。本文在分析银龄志愿服务的重要意义,梳理银龄志愿者参与志愿服务优势的基础上,以鞍山市图书馆老年志愿者服务为例,探讨了银龄志愿者助力公共图书馆阅读推广服务的有效途径,并就银龄志愿服务过程中存在的问题,提出了相关建议。

Silver age volunteer service is a volunteer service mechanism that focuses on the elderly and plays an important role in today’s society.Silver age volunteer service provides a platform for elderly people to utilize their personal abilities and emotional expression,promoting social mutual assistance,care,and inheritance,as well as helping retirees adapt to their social roles as soon as possible,unleash their potential and enhance their sense of social responsibility.The article analyzes the important significance of silver age volunteer service,sorts out the advantages of silver age volunteers participating in volunteer service,and takes the elderly volunteer service of Anshan Library as an example to explore effective ways for silver age volunteers to help promote public library reading services.Based on the problems existing in the process of silver age volunteer service,relevant suggestions are proposed.
