基于纸质出版地图集的在线定制式地图服务研究--以《广东省地图集》为例

摘要 随着地图的普及和社会要求的增加,我国出版了大量不同主题的纸质地图集产品,积累了数量可观的、具有研究价值和史料价值的各种专题数据。目前,已有相关研究多在纸质出版地图集的互联网展示及空间分析应用,而在线定制方向仍然缺乏。因此,本文以《广东省地图集》为例,对纸质出版地图集和互联网地图进行比较分析,构建纸质出版地图集的数据优化技术;设计在线地图服务的技术框架,并结合地图切片服务等技术,实现纸质出版地图集的定制服务。结果表明,本服务在个性化地图定制方面具备良好的体验。这说明了研究成果是对纸质出版地图集的良好延伸和拓展,可为进一步挖掘纸质出版地图集数据的价值提供技术参考。 With the proliferation of maps and increasing societal demands,China has printed a large number of atlases covering various themes,accumulating a considerable quantity of thematic data imbued with research and historical value.However,this data remains static and confined to paper.While a select few atlases offer corresponding internet map applications,the majority lack equivalent online versions.Even among those with internet counterparts,they often lack personalized customization features.This leads to low rates of reuse for high-quality map resources,limited user accessibility,and challenges in personalized customization.Such limitations hinder the further advancement of online map applications,failing to meet the diverse and personalized needs of map users.This paper analyzes and elucidates the complementary advantages between printed atlases and internet maps from two perspectives:map visualization and map application services.It elaborates the advantages of online customized map applications based on printed atlases and investigates data optimization techniques,including geographic base map data optimization such as down sampling map sheet files to obtain multi-scale atlas files.Subsequently,following TMS map service specifications,the data is sliced to generate raster pyramid data,facilitating on-demand loading of base map data,thereby enhancing overall base map performance and rendering speed.Thematic data optimization involves removing duplicate and blank values through data cleaning to ensure the uniqueness and integrity of thematic data.Additionally,standardization of thematic data formats is performed to unify data field formats.Thematic data are imported into the NoSQL database MongoDB,leveraging its indexing mechanism and query optimization for efficient retrieval and querying of thematic data.MongoDB’s horizontal scalability enables accommodation of increased data volume resulting from user-defined thematic data imports.Index data optimization includes establishing map sheet indexes to facilitate rapid retrieval of all map sheets via the search box and establishing thematic index data,effectively improving the performance of the map customization service interface and significantly enhancing the user’s map customization experience.Building upon data optimization,this study develops a three-layered online map application framework comprising data layer,service layer,and application layer.Utilizing technologies such as map tiling services,it develops and constructs an online application for the Atlas of Guangdong Province.This application realizes customized map tasks including geographic map customization,thematic data customization,map decoration customization,and map output and sharing,providing smooth customized services for printed atlases.Since its launch on December 28,2021,until January 20,2024,the online application of the Atlas of Guangdong Province has received over 280,000 visits.Of these,more than 170,000 visits were from desktop computers,accounting for 61.54%,while over 110,000 visits were from mobile devices,accounting for 38.46%.There have been 317 registered users,with 202 customized maps formally archived.Feedback from users of the online application indicates a positive experience in personalized map customization.The online customized map application leverages internet platforms,enabling widespread provision of map services to users and significantly reducing the entry barrier.With the advantage of extensive service sharing,this highlights the online customized map application based on printed atlases as a beneficial extension and expansion of these atlases,providing a reference for further exploration of the value of printed atlas data.
