National unity and progress are the cornerstone of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The whole process of people’s democracy is a major theoretical innovation in the development of socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics.It has built a democratic image of the country with Chinese path to modernization,and can play its advantages in the time-space field of“two overall situations”to stimulate the main momentum of all ethnic groups.The development of people’s democracy throughout the entire process is an important way to consolidate the strength of national unity and promote the development of the cause of national unity and progress.This article analyzes the political momentum of promoting national unity and progress through the entire process of people’s democracy,and based on this,discusses the operational mechanism and effectiveness guarantee of empowering national unity and progress through the entire process of people’s democracy.The aim is to broaden the research perspective and provide a reference for the cause of national unity and progress.
