数字普惠金融聚势赋能共同富裕的效应

Enabling Common Prosperity Via Digital Financial Inclusion

“国之称富者,在乎丰民”,数字经济时代共同富裕的实现方式更加多元化。本文分析数字普惠金融对共同富裕的影响效应和机制,结果表明:第一,空间视角下,数字普惠金融可以显著促进共同富裕水平的提高,数字金融的覆盖广度和使用深度均对共同富裕产生正向影响,数字化程度则相反;第二,数字普惠金融整体上对共同富裕的促进效应存在正向的空间溢出效应和经济规模异质性,其中经济规模较小的地区作用更强烈;第三,数字普惠金融可以通过增加创业活跃度促进地区共同富裕,金融资源配置效率的优化则表现为遮掩效应。在此基础上,本文提出积极推动数字普惠金融的发展、促进地域间横向社会性交流、支持创业及关注金融资源配置效率与社会公平等政策建议。

It is often said that a country is considered wealthy when it enriches its people.This paper assess the impact of digital finance on economic development and the achievement of common prosperity.The study concludes that from a spatial perspective,both the coverage and depth of inclusive digital finance can significantly promote common prosperity.However,the degree of digitalization can also have a negative effect when a"digital divide"is created,leaving a wide gap between those who have achieved prosperity and those who have not.Besides,there is a positive spatial spillover effect and economic scale heterogeneity in the overall promotional effect of digital finance inclusion on common prosperity,especially for regions with smaller economic scales.Digital financial inclusiveness can promote common prosperity largely by increasing entrepreneurial activities,however it can also slightly inhibit common prosperity due to the improvements in the efficiency of financial resource allocation.This article makes several recommendations,such as actively promoting the development of inclusive digital finance,encouraging horizontal social exchanges between regions,supporting entrepreneurship,and paying greater attention to the eficiency of financial resource allocation and social equity.
