The Effect of PDCA Circulation Management on Reducing the Incidence of Complications in Vaginal Delivery

目的运用PDCA(plan-do-check-action)管理法分析阴道分娩并发症发生的原因,针对要因制订和实施改进措施,探讨PDCA循环应用于降低阴道分娩并发症的效果,为产科降低分娩并发症提供科学的管理方法。方法收集肇庆市第一人民医院2020年1—12月实施PDCA循环管理前的2170份阴道分娩产妇病案作为对照组,2022年1—12月实施PDCA循环管理后的2697份阴道分娩产妇病案作为试验组。比较PDCA循环管理法实施前后2组阴道分娩并发症发生率的差异。结果运用PDCA循环管理法,通过完善规章制度流程、加强督导和反馈、强化全员培训,使阴道分娩并发症发生率从2020年的31.66%下降到2022年的17.35%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论PDCA循环管理法有效降低阴道分娩并发症的发生率,是医疗质量管理的一种科学的管理方法。

Objective To analyze the causes of vaginal delivery complications using the PDCA(plan-do-check-action)management method,develop and implement improvement measures for the main factors,and explore the effectiveness of PDCA cycle application in reducing vaginal delivery complications,providing scientific management methods for obstetrics to reduce delivery complications.Methods A total of 2170 medical records of vaginal delivery mothers before implementing PDCA circulation management in the First People's Hospital of Zhaoqing from January to December 2020 were collected as the control group,and 2697 medical records of vaginal delivery mothers after implementing PDCA circulation management from January to December 2022 were collected as the experimental group.The differences in the incidence of vaginal delivery complications between the two groups before and after the implementation of PDCAcirculation management method were compared.Results The PDCA circulation management method was applied to improve the rules and regulations,strengthen supervision and feedback,and enhance training for all staff,resulting in a decrease in the incidence of vaginal delivery complications from 31.66%in 2020 to 17.35% in 2022,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The PDCA cycle management method effectively reduces the incidence of vaginal delivery complications and is a scientific management method for medical quality management.
