摘要
微针作为新型经皮给药技术,具有操作便捷、递送高效等优势,广泛应用于小分子、核酸、多肽、蛋白质等药物的递送。近期研究表明,微针也可以用于递送治疗性细胞等新型生物药物,如干细胞、免疫细胞等,以改善细胞疗法的系统毒性和副作用、增效局部治疗、提升患者依从性等。综述微针递送干细胞、免疫细胞等治疗性细胞的最新进展,讨论了基于微针的细胞递释系统的潜在挑战和未来前景。
Microneedles,as a novel transdermal drug delivery technology with the advantages of easy administration and high efficiency in delivery,have been reported to deliver various therapeutics including small molecules,nucleic acids,peptides,and proteins.Recent studies have demonstrated their ability to deliver novel biopharmaceuticals such as therapeutic cells(e.g.stem cells and immune cells).The application of microneedles could ameliorate the potential side-effects of systemic cell therapy,potentiate therapeutic efficacy on localized treatments,and improve compliance of patients.This article reviews recent advances in microneedle-based delivery of therapeutic cells like stem cells and immune cells,and discusses the potential challenges and future prospects regarding microneedles-based cell delivery and release systems.
