摘要
本文以iWrite自动作文评阅系统为例,考察了自动作文评阅系统反馈对于中级水平的英语学习者写作句法复杂度的影响。研究采用了陆小飞开发的二语句法复杂度分析器,从总体复杂度、从属复杂度和短语复杂度三个维度进行了分析。研究结果表明,iWrite系统的反馈可以提升二语学习者写作的总体复杂度、并列短语和复杂名词短语复杂度,但是对于从属复杂度没有显著影响,而这可能与系统提供的反馈内容相关。此外,自动作文的反馈也会降低二语写作中的动词短语复杂度,这可能与受试采用回避策略有关。
The study investigates the effects of the feedback of iWrite system on the syntactic complexity of intermediate EFL learners'writing.Using L2SCA,the study analyzes the overall complexity,subordinate complexity and phrase complexity.The results show that MLT,CP/T and CN/T significantly increased with the help of the feedback from iwWrite system;however,there is no significant increase in terms of C/T and DC/T.The research argues that it is probably related to the feedback provided by the system.In addition,VP/T significantly decreases,which is the result of the avoidance strategy adopted by thelearners.
