Progress on neutrophil extracellular capture traps in infectious lung diseases

肺部感染性疾病作为常见的呼吸系统疾病,全球发病率高、病死率高,其致病微生物类型多种多样,为诊断和治疗带来巨大挑战。中性粒细胞是肺部感染过程中的第一道防线。活化的中性粒细胞会释放中性粒细胞胞外捕获网(NET),以捕获和消灭微生物。虽然NET可保护宿主免受病原微生物的侵害,但过度的NET形成会对宿主造成损害。本综述重点阐述了关于NET形成对肺部感染性疾病的病理生理学影响的研究进展以及用于缓解NET形成的治疗方法。

Lung infectious diseases,as common respiratory diseases with high global morbidity and mortality,are characterized by a wide variety of causative microbial types,posing enormous diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.Neutrophils are the first line of defense during lung infections.Activated neutrophils release neutrophil extracellular traps(NET)to capture and destroy microorganisms.Although NET can protect the host against pathogenic microorganisms,excessive NET formation can be detrimental to the host.This review highlights the research advances in the pathophysiologic impact of NET formation on infectious diseases of the lung and explores the therapeutic approaches used to mitigate NET formation.
