人工智能在体外受精和胚胎图像识别方面的研究进展

ADVANCES IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR IN VITRO FERTILIZATION AND EMBRYO IMAGE RECOGNITION

摘要 随着现代科学技术及医疗的快速发展,人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)应用于医学已经成为国内外研究的热点。在辅助生殖领域,利用AI预知患者的生育能力、采用个体化方案解决生育问题、智能识别胚胎图像和选择最具发育潜能的胚胎是AI技术研究的方向。在临床工作中,胚胎质量是预测体外受精-胚胎移植(in vitro fertilization-embryo transfe,IVF-ET)是否成功的重要因素之一。因此评估胚胎质量,选择最有发育潜能的胚胎进行移植是辅助生殖实验室工作的关键步骤。目前AI应用于智能胚胎图像识别方面尚不完善,存在一定的争议。文本对AI在胚胎图像识别方面的最新应用进行综述,并探讨AI在胚胎图像识别的应用现状,存在的问题及发展方向。 With the rapid development of modern science,technology and medicine,the application of artificial intelli-gence(AI)to medicine has become a hot topic of research at home and abroad.In the field of assisted reproduction,the direction of AI technology research includes using AI to predict the fertility of patients,adopting individualized solutions to solve fertility problems,intelligently identifying images of embryos,and selecting embryos with the highest potential for development.In clini-cal work,embryo quality is one of the important factors for predicting the success of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Therefore,evaluating the quality of embryos and selecting those with the best potential for development for transfer is a crit-ical step in the work of assisted reproduction laboratories.Currently,the use of AI for intelligent embryo image recognition is not perfect,and some controversy is still existent.This paper not only reviews the latest application of AI in embryo image recogni-tion,but also explores the current application status,existing problems and development direction of AI in embryo image recog-nition.
