Objective To explore the clinical value of mean red blood cell volume(MCV),mean red blood cell hemoglobin content(MCH)and serum ferritin(SF)for iron-deficiency anemia in pregnant women. Methods 56 pregnant women with ischemic anemia were selected as the study group. In addition,56 healthy pregnant women in our hospital were selected as the control group.Blood tests were performed in both groups to compare the levels of MCV,MCH and SF,and analyze the diagnostic value of each index. Results The levels of MCV,MCH and SF in the investigation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in disease detection rate and missed diagnosis rate between MCV and MCH(P>0.05).The disease detection rate of SF was higher than that of MCV and MCH,and the missed rate was lower than that of MCV and MCH(P<0.05).Conclusion After the occurrence of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women, the levels of MCV,MCH and SF will be reduced to varying degrees. Therefore, the above indicators can be used as an important basis for the diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women,so as to ensure early detection and intervention of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women and ensure the health of pregnant women.
