重返空间与身体:老人传播研究的新进路

Returning to Space and Body:A New Approach to Elderly Communication Research

现有老人传播研究的媒介或技术中心主义严重忽视了老人传播交往的空间、身体之维及老人线下交往与线上连接之复杂关系。老人传播研究引入空间和身体视角,既是为了更好洞察、诠释老人于日常生活中所开展的各类线下交往实践,也是对媒介化、数字化时代老人传播交往困境及当下社会老龄化相关问题的积极回应。重新发掘老人传播中的空间、身体资源,建构有关空间、身体、媒介、信息等的融合范式将构成理解当代老人传播交往及丰富老人传播理论的新视阈,同时也有利于通过线上、线下双向取径助力健康养老、积极养老的实现。

The media-centric or technology-centric orientation of elderly communication research neglected the spatial and physical dimensions of elderly communication,as also as the complex relationship between offline and online communication.From the perspective of space and body,the study on elderly communication is not only a better understanding and interpretation to the various offline communication practices that elderly people do in their daily lives,but also a positive response to the difficulties of the elderly communication in the media and digital era,as well as issues related to the current aging society.Rethinking the important role of space and body in the elderly communication practice,and constructing the fusion paradigm related to space,body,media and information,etc.,will constitute a new vision to understand the elderly communication practice and enrich the elderly communication theories,which is also beneficial for promoting healthy and active elderly care through both online and offline channels.
