摘要
《红楼梦》和《镜花缘》从书名来看一个是“红楼一梦”,一个是“镜花水月”,两部清代优秀长篇小说问世的时间相差不长,都表达了“空”的思想倾向。《镜花缘》的叙事艺术在一定程度上受到了《红楼梦》的影响,两者都采用了虚幻和现实对照的叙事模式,塑造了女性群像,并且都以园林——大观园和晚芳林为背景描写女性活动。《镜花缘》的叙事艺术也有自身的发展和不足。对比《红楼梦》,《镜花缘》中的女性允文允武,并且有了经世致用的社会才能,女性意识更强烈。但是它的叙事结构较为单一,人物形象的塑造也不如《红楼梦》丰满。
A Dream of Red Mansions and Flowers in the Mirror,the two excellent novels in Qing Dynasty,came out close in time,both express the“empty”ideological tendency.The narrative art of Flowers in the Mirror is influenced to some extent by A Dream of Red Mansions.Both of them use the narrative mode of contrast between illusion and reality to create a group of female images,and both describe female activities with the background of gardens-Grand View Garden and Wanfang Forest.The narrative art of Flowers in the Mirror also has its own development and shortcomings.Compared with A Dream of Red Mansions,the women in Flowers in the Mirror are allowed to be literary and martial,and have the social ability to apply to the world,and the female consciousness is more awakening.However,its narrative structure is relatively simple,and the portrayal of characters is not as full as A Dream of Red Mansions.
