As a subjective feeling,pain is often a common symptom of many diseases,which seriously affects the quality of life and the overall rehabilitation effect of patients.With the deepening of medical research,the application of traditional Chinese medicine therapy in the field of pain has been paid more and more attention.As a kind of traditional Chinese medicine treatment,wrist-ankle acupuncture is widely used in clinic for its unique curative effect by selecting specific acupuncture points on the patient's wrist and ankle.This article analyzed the application of wrist-ankle acupuncture in neurological diseases,cancer,surgical diseases,medical diseases and other common pain diseases,and provided scientific basis for its further application in clinic.It was expected to promote the development of traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods in modern medical practice and provide patients with more comprehensive and personalized pain management programs.
