Higher Education Provides Support for Rural Revitalization

乡村振兴是全面建设社会主义现代化国家、实现中华民族伟大复兴的一项重大任务。人才振兴是乡村振兴的基础,强化乡村振兴人才支撑是推进乡村全面振兴的应有之义。过去,作为人才培养高地,高校为全面建成小康社会注入了强大动能。现在,高校在乡村振兴新征程上再次走在前列,担负起新的使命。2024年,中央一号文件三次强调高等教育的作用,特别指出:“发挥普通高校、职业院校、农业广播电视学校等作用,提高农民教育培训实效。”

In this issue,we highlight the journey of cultivating talents for rural revitalization in China's higher education institutions by interviewing heads of the continuing education departments of universities,the Open University of China,and vocational colleges.We also summarize the innovative and best practices in this arena to provide educational support for promoting rural revitalization onall fronts.
