DURING his visit to Serbia in early May,Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a joint statement on the building of a China-Serbia community with a shared future in the new era with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic,which makes Serbia the first European country to forge ahead in building such a community with China.This move marks an upgrade of their relations from the comprehensive strategic partnership established eight years ago.
