Three Practical Routes of Forging the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation--A Case Study on the Party’s National Work during the Red Army’s Western Expedition

西征战役,是1936年红军开展的一场重大军事行动。在西征途经的回民聚居地,党和红军高度重视民族统战工作,积极开展统战宣传,促进回民认同感的形成;实现和维护回民利益,促进归属感的增强;激励和发挥回民力量,推进使命感的培养。通过上述三个层次实践路径广泛争取和团结回民,在改善民族关系、壮大革命力量、扩大革命统一战线等层面取得良好成效。这一时期的实践探索,对新时代铸牢中华民族共同体意识工作具有重要的借鉴意义。

The Western Expedition was a major military action launched by the Red Army in 1936.In many Muslim settlements along the way of the Western Expedition,the Party and the Red Army attached importance to the work of national united front,carried out united front propaganda,and promoted the formation of the identity of the Hui people,realized and safeguarded the interests of the Hui people,promoted the enhancement of the sense of belonging,encouraged and gave full play to the power of the Hui people,promoted the cultivation of the sense of mission,strove for and uniting the Hui people through the above three levels of practice path,achieved good results in improving national relations,strengthened the revolutionary forces,expanded the revolutionary united front and other aspects.The practical exploration of this period has significance for forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation in the new era.
