The Dream of the Red Chamber is the pinnacle of Chinese ancient chapter novel.The description of costumes in the book is the epitome of the costume culture of the Qing Dynasty,while the description of fur headwear is detailed.The styles of the fur headwear worn by the characters in The Dream of the Red Chamber were summarized and analyzed,while its role in the shaping of characters,the inheritance of clothing culture and the author's ideological tendency was discussed.Taking the description of the fur headwear in the first eighty chapters of The Dream of the Red Chamber as the research object,the analogy analysis was carried out and its characteristics were expounded through the data collation and analysis of the description of the fur headwear in the book.It is found that the fur headwear mentioned in The Dream of the Red Chamber has the class nature of the crown dress ritual system,the nationality of the Manchu-Han integration and the revolutionary nature of the aesthetics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.It presents the practical significance of the fur headwear in The Dream of the Red Chamber and the folk customs of the Qing Dynasty.
