This paper explores the innovative use of Building Information Modeling(BIM)and cloud storage in engineering document management.As engineering projects and information volumes increase,traditional document management methods reveal limitations.By integrating BIM and cloud storage,our goal is to enhance the accessibility and sharing of engineering documents while reducing storage costs.The paper introduces the fundamental principles of BIM and cloud storage,detailing their integrated application.Using a case study of an engineering document management system in a residential community,the paper analyzes the advantages,providing valuable insights for construction units involved in project document management.
