二语写作思维模式、成就目标与自我调节写作策略的关系

Modeling Chinese EFL undergraduates'L2 writing mindset,achievement goals,and self-regulated writing strategies

摘要 本研究通过对429名非英语专业本科生的问卷调查,考察了二语写作思维模式、成就目标和自我调节写作策略之间的关系。研究运用结构方程建模和中介效应检验对数据进行了分析,结果表明:1)在二语写作中,学习者拥有多个成就目标,而非单一成就目标;2)二语写作思维模式显著正向预测三种二语写作成就目标和自我调节写作策略;3)掌握目标和成绩接近目标在二语写作思维模式与自我调节写作策略间具有显著中介作用,而成绩回避目标的中介作用不显著。 Drawing on a sample of 429 Chinese non-English major undergraduates,this study investigates the relationship between growth mindset,achievement goals and self-regulated strategies in L2 writing.Structural equation modeling and mediation analysis are performed to analyze the data.The results reveal that:1)the participants adopt multiple achievement goals rather than single achievement goal in L2 writing;2)L2 writing mindset significantly and positively predictes the endorsement of the three L2 writing achievement goals and the use of self-regulated writing strategies;and 3)both mastery and performance-approach goals act as a significant mediator between L2 writing mindset and self-regulated writing strategies,while the mediating effect of performance-avoidance goals are non-significant.
