Forerunner of Art in New China:The Beginning and Development of Art Movement in Liberated Areas of Northeast China

东北解放区美术运动作为解放区文艺运动的重要组织力量之一,会集国内各地区文艺群体,以创作实践支撑革命服务和社会服务。在东北解放战争多阶段的复杂环境下,东北解放区美术运动以美术创作渗透新的战略思想、政策成果及各阶段发展成效,壮大东北美术创作群体,完成去殖民文化构建,探索兼具释义性与装饰性的视觉表达,开拓了乡土、工农业、城市题材的表现方式,积极参与新中国美术图景的初步建构。

The art movement in liberated areas of northeast China,as one of the important forces that organized literary and art movements in liberated areas,gathered together literary and art groups from various regions in China to support revolutionary and social services with creation.In the complex environment of the multi-stage northeast liberation war,the art movement in liberated areas of northeast China made new strategic ideas,policy achievements and development results at each stage known to the public with artistic creation,and increased the number of artists in northeast China,which helped eliminate colonial culture,explored interpretive and decorative visual expression,expanded the expression of village-,industry-,agriculture-and urban-themed artworks,and took an active part in the preliminary art development in New China.
