According to the“Accreditation Criteria on Special Equipment Testing Agencies”issued by State Administration for Market Regulation in 2022,the internal railway inspection agency is defined as the self-inspection agency established within the unit using special equipment,which belongs to Category C inspection agency.Qualifications for elevator inspections were formally eliminated,and various degrees of increases were made to the staffing,fixed asset,and other requirements.As a result,the railway special inspection,which is already dealing with an extremely challenging development status,will be directly impacted by the industry's business shrinkage and possible loss of employment.Given the aforementioned circumstances,one of the major concerns that railway special inspectors now face is the direction of the special equipment inspection agency within the railway.The current state of the China Railway special equipment inspection agency is reviewed thoroughly in this article,along with a discussion of the multiple issues that are now that affect the agency and an assessment of its potential development direction.
