The fluctuation of construction material prices has been a common problem in the international engineering contracting market in recent years.Especially for projects with long performance period,the risk of project benefits being affected by market price factors is greater.International engineering main contractors can effectively use the price adjustment formula in contract terms to avoid this risk.This article combines the price adjustment practice of a project in a certain African country to analyze how to use the price adjustment formula in the international engineering performance process to avoid risks,control costs,and increase profits under FIDIC contract terms.
