摘要
添田修平,是我到国家外国专家局工作后首先并经常听到的老专家名字,是每年国庆、春节及各种与外国专家相关的重要场合必须要邀请的重要嘉宾,是对我来说遥远又亲切、高尚又平凡的存在。所以,直到今天,当我出版了《外国专家的中国情缘》一书后,我才觉得拥有了些许与添田先生面对面的勇气和信心。
Soeda Shuhei is a name I first encountered and frequently heard upon starting my work at the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. He is an esteemed figure, an essential guest whose name resounds during every National Day, Spring Festival, and other significant occasions. He embodies a distant yet familiar, noble yet humble presence to me. It wasn’t until today, after publishing my book Through Their Eyes: 16 Foreign Experts’ Serendipity with China, that I felt I gained some courage and confidence to meet Mr. Soeda in person.
