睡眠促进中小学生非认知能力的发展吗?——基于153,901名学生的调查数据分析

摘要 保障睡眠时间是促进学生健康成长的重要手段。以153,901名中小学生大样本实证调查数据,基于自我损耗模型,采用多元线性回归、倾向得分匹配探究睡眠时间对中小学生非认知能力的影响。研究发现:(1)睡眠时间正向预测中小学生非认知能力(开放性、责任心、外倾性、宜人性和情绪稳定性)的发展。(2)小学生睡眠满10小时的平均处理效应为:开放性0.140~0.177;责任心0.167~0.201;外倾性0.160~0.196;宜人性0.110~0.138;情绪稳定性0.154~0.192。中学生睡眠满9小时的平均处理效应为:开放性0.274~0.315;责任心0.195~0.228;外倾性0.330~0.382;宜人性0.194~0.213;情绪稳定性0.273~0.338。建议充分保障中小学生的睡眠时间,有效发挥睡眠对非认知能力的积极效应,促进中小学生的全面发展。 Sleep management is an important part of the"Five Management Principles".Ensuring an adequate sleep duration is a crucial factor in promoting the healthy growth of students.This study investigated the effects of sleep duration on noncognitive abilities of elementary and middle school students based on Ego depletion model,multiple linear regression,propensity score matching with a large sample of 153,901 students.The findings indicate the following:sleep duration positively predicted the development of non-cognitive abilities(openness,conscientiousness,extraversion,agreeableness,and emotional stability)in elementary and middle school students.Specifically,it was observed that the average treatment on the treated with longer than 10 hours of sleep were:openness 0.140 to 0.177,conscientiousness 0.167 to 0.201,extraversion 0.160 to 0.196,agreeableness 0.110 to 0.138,and emotional stability 0.154 to 0.192 in elementary school students.For middle school students,the average treatment on the treated with longer than 9 ours of sleep were:openness 0.274 to 0.315,conscientiousness 0.195 to 0.228,extraversion 0.330 to 0.382,agreeableness 0.194 to 0.213,and emotional stability 0.273 to 0.338.It is recommended that the sleep duration of elementary and middle school students be adequately guaranteed,so as to effectively utilize the positive effects of sleep on non-cognitive abilities and to promote the all-round development of elementaryandmiddleschool students.
