The power transmission from offshore wind farms relies on submarine cables,which can be installed using burial plow method or underwater remotely operating vehicle(ROV)flushing burial method.In comparison to conventional cable laying approaches,the ROV flushing burial method offers time-saving and efficiency improvements,resulting in a reduction of over 30%in the construction period for each cable.The construction of the ROV flushing burial method of the submarine cable mainly includes the steps of construction ship positioning,submarine cable detection and positioning,and mud flushing and suction construction.The operation process and precautions of each construction step are introduced in detail to ensure that the buried depth of submarine cable meets thedesign requirements.
