“内胆”:宁波慈湖书院室内空间的再生设计实践探索

‘Internal Envelope’:An Exploratory Design Practice for the Regeneration of the Interior Space of Cihu Academy in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province

在历史城区的复兴中,传统建筑的适应性再利用十分重要。如何在保护传统建筑外观的同时,提升室内空间的舒适度,完成内部空间的现代化,以满足当代生活、工作和休闲的需求,是传统建筑适应性再利用的关键难题。文章首先根据中国传统建筑的建造规律和特点,借鉴欧洲建筑中的“包裹”概念,提出在中国传统建筑的室内植入“内胆”,运用相应的建筑技术使室内空间满足当代的使用需求,作为传统建筑室内空间再生策略的探索;其次以宁波慈湖书院为例,分析在该建筑室内空间植入“内胆”、实施建造并较好地满足当代室内空间舒适度要求的具体方法。以期对传统建筑的再生提供借鉴。

The adaptive reuse of traditional buildings is crucial in revitalising historic urban areas.It is challenging as it requires preserving the buildings’physical characteristics while enhancing interior comfort and modernising the space to meet contemporary needs for living,working,and leisure.Drawing on the construction principles and characteristics of traditional Chinese architecture,this article argues for the adoptation of the concept of‘envelope’from European architecture and proposes implanting an‘internal envelope’within traditional Chinese buildings to make the interior space meet contemporary needs,as an exploration strategy for the regeneration of the interior space of traditional architecture.It further uses the case of Cihu Academy in Ningbo,Zhejiang Province,to analyse the design and specific implementation methods of the strategy,providing a reference for the regeneration of traditional architecture in China.
