墨白的散文创作,表现出两个方面的鲜明特征。一是对真实的尊重。这对他的创作来讲意义重大,文字表面的象征渗透得更多是思想和感觉的真实,正是这种铿锵有力的真实感觉契合了读者对于生命本真的追求。二是对于底层民众的关注。故乡给了他最好的精神支撑,故乡几十年的行走给予他深刻的影响,也自然而然成就了其作品可贵的精神世界。

Mo Bai’s prose creation shows two distinct characteristics.One is his respect for truth,which is of great significance to his creation.The symbol on the surface of the text is penetrated more with true thoughts and feeling,and it is just this forceful sense of truth that accords with the reader’s pursuit of the truth of life.The other is his concern with the unprivileged population.His hometown gave him the best spiritual support,and his walking in his hometown in the decades of years also influenced him profoundly,which naturally achieved the valuable spiritual world in his works.
