Research Progress on Acupoint Thread Embedding Therapy for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

多囊卵巢综合征(polycystic ovary syndrome,PCOS)是青春期及育龄期女性最常见的生殖内分泌紊乱性疾病,严重危害着全球女性健康。PCOS治疗周期较长且临床疗效欠佳,一线用药存在一定的局限。近年来,穴位埋线以其疗效显著、不良反应少等优势越来越多地被应用于PCOS的治疗。从调节机体内分泌代谢状况、降低雄激素水平、改善子宫内膜容受性、降低炎性指标水平、调节肠道菌群等多个角度论述穴位埋线治疗PCOS的临床进展,以期为PCOS的治疗提供新思路。

Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)is the most common reproductive endocrine disorder in adolescent and reproductive age women,posing a serious threat to women’s health worldwide.The treatment cycle of PCOS is long and the clinical efficacy is poor,and first-line medication has certain limitations.In recent years,acupoint thread embedding has been increasingly applied in the treatment of PCOS due to its significant therapeutic effect and fewer adverse reactions.The author discusses the clinical progress of acupoint thread embedding therapy for PCOS from multiple perspectives,such as regulating the body’s endocrine metabolism,reducing androgen levels,improving endometrial receptivity,reducing inflammatory index levels,and regulating intestinal microbiota,in order to provide new ideas for the treatment of PCOS.
