产业结构升级对中国碳排放的影响研究:机制与检验

摘要 研究产业结构升级与碳排放之间的关系以及具体的影响路径,对中国环境与经济协调发展具有重要的现实意义。文章选取2003-2022年30个省级行政区的面板数据,采用双向固定效应模型实证分析了产业结构升级与碳排放之间的关系。结论表明:(1)产业结构升级能够有效降低碳排放;(2)由于不同地区经济发展水平的差异性,产业结构升级对碳排放的作用强度是不同的。其中对东部地区作用效果最明显,中部地区次之,而对西部地区和东北地区的作用效果则是不明显;(3)通过中介效应模型发现技术创新和劳动力质量的提升是产业结构升级降低碳排放的有效途径。 Studying the relationship between industrial structure upgrading and carbon emission and their interacting patterns is of great practical significance for the coordinated development of environment and economy in China.So the current study selected the panel data of 30 provincial administrative regions from 2003 to 2022 and empirically analyzed the relationship between industrial structure upgrading and carbon emissions by using a two-way fixed effect model.The results show that:(1)Industrial structure upgrading can effectively reduce carbon emissions;(2)Due to the different levels of economic development in different regions,the effect of industrial structure upgrading on carbon emissions is different,with the strongest one in the eastern regions of the country,followed by the one in the central regions,and the least in the western regions;(3)The intermediary effect model reveals that technological innovation and improvement of labor quality are effective way to upgrade industrial structure and reduce carbon emissions.
