Liposomal bupivacaine is a sustained-released bupivacaine prepared by liposome technology.The analgesic time of liposomal bupivacaine can be up to 72 h.The article reviews the related studies concerning liposomal bupivacaine,with a focus on the research progress of postoperative analgesia.The application of bupivacaine liposomes in postoperative analgesia is summarized from the respects of pharmacological properties,clinical applications and safety.As an ultra-long-acting local anesthetics,bupivacaine liposome has certain application value in postoperative analgesia.
