This paper discusses the application,development trend and challenges of new digital modulation in radio and television signal transmission.This paper introduces the application of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)and other means in high definition television,satellite communication,mobile broadcasting and multimedia broadcasting.This paper describes the advantages of new digital modulation in improving spectral fficiency and signal stability,points out the challenges brought by high order modulation technology,such as signal quality requirements and demodulation complexity,and looks forward to the development trend of new digital modulation technology,so as to provide reference for the continuous innovation and development of radio and television signal transmission technology.
