Historic areas are not only critical carriers of the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage,but also key objects of urban renewal.This paper,based on the comprehensive attributes of historic areas in terms of culture,environment and economy,carries out holistic response from the perspective of urban scale,and aims to explore preservation and regeneration methods for high-quality development.
