摘要
病毒诱导的基因沉默(virus induced gene silencing,VIGS)是依赖于RNA干扰(RNA interference,RNAi)快速降解靶标基因分析其功能的一种技术,RNAi属于植物天然防御机制的一部分。与其他植物基因功能验证方法相比,VIGS技术操作简单、见效快、无需转基因。番茄是中国乃至世界重要大宗蔬菜,也是现代蔬菜的主导产业,自从番茄基因组测序完成,逐步成为果实类基因功能研究中的模式植物,本研究归纳总结了近年来VIGS技术在番茄基因功能中研究与应用,以期为茄科蔬菜乃至园艺植株基因功能研究提供参考与借鉴,为加速蔬菜乃至园艺作物基因功能研究提供参考。
Virus induced gene silencing(VIGS)is a technology that relies on RNA interference(RNAi)to rapidly degrade target genes to analyze their functions.RNAi is part of the natural defense mechanism in plants.Compared with other plant gene function research methods,VIGS has several advantages,for example fast operation and no need for genetic modification.Tomato is an important economic vegetable with fruit in China and even all of the world,and it is becoming the leading industry of modern vegetables.It has gradually become a model plant in the study of gene function of bulk vegetables.This study summarizes the research and application of VIGS technology in tomato gene function in recent years,and will provide reference for the gene function research of Solanaceae vegetables and even horticultural plant,accelerating the gene function research of vegetable and even horticultural crop.
